In October, 2013, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello traveled
to Izmir, Turkey, where he acted as an invited speaker
at the Third International Symposium on
Computing in Science and Engineering (ISCSE 2013).
During his stay, Dr. Coello was in a very nice hotel (which
is actually a major touristic resort in Turkey) and had the
opportunity to visit some nearby ruins (including the famous
Church of Mary) and the city of Izmir (the hotel was outside
the city). Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time and
hopes to be able to visit Turkey again.
