Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello traveled to Sheffield, UK, during
March 19-22, 2013, to attend the 7th International Conference
on Evolutionary Multi-Criterion Optimization (EMO'2013).
He traveled with Adriana Menchaca Méndez, who is Dr. Coello's
PhD student.
EMO'2013 was a very successful conference, which was very well
organized and very well attended. The conference took place at
the University of Sheffield, and kept its traditional single-track
format, which provides an excellent opportunity for discussions.
Even when the weather was not really nice, we had fun with it
(you can see the heavy snow that we had in Sheffield during the
conference in some of the photos included below). Dr. Coello had
the opportunity to meet Dr. Antonio López Jaimes (one of
his former PhD students) and also got a photo with Prof. Peter
Fleming, who was the host of the conference.
