In July, 2010, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello and two of his PhD students (Saúl Zapotecas Martínez and Adriana Lara López) attended the 2010 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO'2010), which took place in Portland, Oregon, USA.

They had a great time in this beautiful city, while enjoying a great conference. One of the highlights of the event was that Adriana received the best paper award at the Graduate Student Workshop.
