In September, 2012, Dr. Carlos A.
Coello Coello traveled to Taormina,
Italy, to attend the 12th International Conference on Parallel
Problem Solving from Nature (PPSN''2012).
Dr. Coello had a great time in this beautiful city that has
breathtaking views (some of which are shown in the photographs below).
He enjoyed the town, its shops, its narrow streets, its great food
and its outstanding ice cream.
Dr. Coello also enjoyed the conference and lot and had a great time
with
the two main conference organizers who were superb hosts: Giuseppe
Nicosia and Mario Pavone.
This was such an enjoyable place that Dr. Coello sincerely hopes
to be able to visit it again (but this time, together with his
family).
