Academic visit (Tenerife, Spain), October 2012 |

In October, 2012, Dr.
Carlos A. Coello Coello
did an academic visit to the Universidad de la
Laguna, in Tenerife, Spain. During this visit,
he had an opportunity to discuss with Dr. Coromoto
León;n and her research group about possible
overlaps between their research interests. During this visit, Dr. Coello had the opportunity to go to the National Park of the Teide (the highest mountain in Spain). There, he visited the volcanic formations surrounding this mountain, including the famous Roque Cinchado (see the photos below). Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time in Tenerife, and is very thankful of the excellent treatment that he received during this visit. |
