In February, 2008, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello, visited the Center for Research in Mathematics (CIMAT), in Guanajuato, México, in order to attend the annual meeting of the external advisory committee of such research center.

As in the two previous years in which Dr. Coello has served in this committee, he received an excellent treatment and had a great time in his short visit to the beautiful city of Guanajuato. Below, you can see a few pictures of downtown Guanajuato at night. Most of them were taken from Casa Colorada, which is the highest point in the city and hosts an excellent restaurant and a superb hotel.
