In October, 2008, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello acted as keynote speaker at the IV Congreso Mexicanode Computación Evolutiva (COMCEV'2008), which took place in the beautiful city of Guanajuato, in central Mexico.

The conference was hosted by the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT), which Dr. Coello usually visits every year. As usual, it was great for Dr. Coello to come back to Guanajuato. Below, you can see three pictures of the city of Guanajuato that were taken from CIMAT.
