In October, 2008, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello acted as invited speaker at the Graduate Seminar entitled Últimos Avances en Informática 2008 (Latest Advances in Computing 2008), which took place at the Universidad de la Laguna, in Tenerife, Spain.

Although this was a very short visit, Dr. Coello had a great time in Tenerife (this was his second visit to this beautiful island) thanks to the hospitality of his hosts.
