In May, 2005, Dr. Coello visited Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain to serve as a member of the PhD examination panel of David Greiner. The trip was quite an experience for Dr. Coello, who had never been in Canarias before.
Below you will see some pictures of the beautiful beaches of Las Palmas, as well as some pictures from its streets and a view from the highest point in the island (from which one can see Tenerife in a clear day).
Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time in Las Palmas and his only regret was not being able to stay longer (he spent only 4 days in this beautiful island).
