On May 15th, 2006, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello attended the PhD defense of Francisco Alonso Farrera, which took place at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Coello was one invited to act as one of the external examiners.
