BT'04 (Calgary, Canada), June 2004.

In June 2004, Dr. Coello was invited to act as a keynote speaker at the International Workshop on Biometric Technologies: Forum on Modeling and Simulation in Biometric Technology--BT 2004. This workshop took place at the University of Calgary (in Canada), and was organized by Dr. Svetlana Yanushkevich. Dr. Coello had a great time in Calgary. The hosts were superb and the conference was a great success. As a social event related to the conference, the attendees were taken to a short visit to Banff, which has some of the most beautiful landscapes that Dr. Coello had ever seen. The surroundings of Banff are really breathtaking as can be seen in the pictures shown below.
