In July 2006, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello, Dr. Efrén Mezura Montes
and Jesús Velázquez Reyes attended the 2006 IEEE
Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC'2006), which was part of
the 2006 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence
(WCCI'2006) held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Coello participated in two panel sessions, and also had the honor
to deliver an invited talk. Needless to say, he and his two former
students enjoyed the conference very much and had a great time in
Vancouver.
