In May 2009, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello attended the 2009 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, which took place in the beautiful city of Trondheim, in Norway.

Below, you can see pictures of Trondheim and of the conference, including some taken at the banquet. In some of them, you will see Dr. Coello sharing a table with good friends such as Ruhul Sarker, Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan (who was captured when he was about to give a big bite), Qingfu Zhang and Edward Tsang.

You will also see a few pictures of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, since Dr. Coello had to wait a few hours in this city, while waiting for his connecting flight to Trondheimand in his way back to Mexico City.
