EH'04 (Seattle, Washington, USA), June 2004

In June, 2004, Dr. Coello traveled to Seattle, Washington, USA, to attend the 2004 NASA/DoD Conference on Evolvable Hardware. This was a somewhat complicated trip, since Dr. Coello had to go to Portland first, then had to fly to Calgary and from there fly to Seattle. However, he had a wonderful time in Seattle. The pictures below show some of the two main attractions of this city: the space needle and the Seattle Flight Museum. One of the unique experiences of this trip was the fact that Dr. Coello had the chance to get inside a Concorde airplane (some pictures are shown below). There are also some beautiful views of the city taken from the top of the Space Needle. .
