In August, 2009, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello traveled to the beautiful historical town El Fuerte, Sinaloa, in northern Mexico, to act as an invited tutorial speaker at theXIV ELAVIO (Escuela Latinoamericana de Verano de Investigación de Operaciones or Latinamerican Summer School of Operations Research).
