8th Joint Conference on Information Sciences (Salt Lake, Utah, USA), July 2005

During July, 2005, Dr. Coello attended the 8th Joint Conference on Information Sciences (JCIS'2005), which was held in Salt Lake, Utah, USA. At JCIS'2005, Dr. Coello acted as a keynote speaker, and delivered a talk on evolutionary multiobjective optimization. Dr. Coello's talk had a good reception and he had the opportunity to exchange some ideas with several researchers from other parts of the world. During his free time, Dr. Coello walked a little bit around the beautiful city of Salt Lake. The city was safe, very clean and very well organized. People were extremelly kind and helpful. After his short stay, Dr. Coello was convinced that this was definitely a trip worth repeating in the near future (perhaps with his family).
