In February, 2009, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello traveled to Spain to act as invited speaker at the Second International Seminar on New Issues in Artificial Intelligence,which took place at the Universidad Carlos III from Madrid, Campus Colmenarejo.

To Dr. Coello's surprise, there was a lot of snow in Madrid, as can be seen in the pictures below. We also show some pictures of the university, of downtown Madrid and of some of the restaurants to which Dr. Coello was invited. As usual, Dr. Coello had a great time during this visit to the beautiful city of Madrid and its surroundings.
