In August, 2017, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello travelled to Melbourne, Australia, to give a Distinguished Lecture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

Since he could stay a few extra days after his talk, he also had the opportunity to act as keynote speaker at the 30th Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence which was part of the the 2017 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI'2017).

Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time in Australia and enjoyed a lot of Melbourne which is a city that he was visiting for the very first time. Below, you can see some photos of this visit.
