In December, 2016, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello attended the
2016 Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI'2016),
which took place in Athens, Greece.
This was a great opportunity for Dr. Coello to visit this beautiful
and legendary city full of historical landmarks. Below, you can find
several photos of the city, including some that he took from the
restaurant at his hotel (from which it was possible to see the remains
of Zeus' temple) and from his visit to the Parthenon.
Dr. Coello also had the opportunity to visit a museum in which he
could appreciate just a very small part of the historical richness
of the ancient Greek culture. This was, with no doubt, an unforgettable trip.
