In July 2018, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello traveled to Kyoto, Japan,
to attend the 2018 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation
Conference (GECCO'2018).
Dr. Coello had a great time in Kyoto, enjoying of a great conference
and a beautiful city. He also had a chance to talk to some old
friends and even to get a photo with the legendary Profs. David
E. Goldberg and Kenneth De Jong, as well as a person he hadn't seen
in a long time (Dr. Tatsuya Okabe). He also got some photographs
with two women dressed in a traditional japanese way and with two
good friends (Profs. Hisao Ishibuchi and Andy Song).
