In November, 2017, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello visited the City University of Hong Kong to give an IEEE CIS Distinguished Lecture. Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time and enjoyed of great food and a very warm welcome from Profs. Kay Chen Tan and Qingfu Zhang.

During this short trip, he also visited Prof. Xin Yao at the Southern University of Science and Technology and Prof. Qiuzhen Lin at Shenzhen University (both universities are located in continental China).
