In September 2018, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello attended
the 15th International Conference on Parallel Problem
Solving from Nature (PPSN'2018), which took place in
the beautiful city of Coimbra, in Portugal.
Besides enjoying of the magnificent architecture of this
city and of the beautiful University of Coimbra, Dr.
Coello enjoyed of the great Portuguese food and of a
great conference. He traveled with two of his PhD students
(Edgar Manoatl Lopez and Jesús Guillermo Falcón
Cardona).
When traveling back home, Dr. Coello had the opportunity
of spending one afternoon in Lisbon and visited the Castle
of Saint George (some pictures of the castle are shown
below). This was, with no doubt, a very enjoyable trip.
