During November 7-11, 2022, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello attended the 15th Latin American Informatics Symposium (LATIN 2022), which took place at CIMAT, in the beautiful city of Guanajuato, in central Mexico

Dr. Coello participated in a panel in honor of Prof. Héctor García-Molina from Stanford University. In this panel, he had the honor to share the microphones with Prof. Jeffrey D. Ulmann (recipient of the ACM Turing Award in 2020) from Stanford University, who was a close friend of Prof. García-Molina.
