In December 2023, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello gave an invited talk at the Mesoamerican Centre for Theoretical Physics, located in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, México.

There, he had the opportunity to meet a good old friend (Manuel Molina) and his son, as well as Prof. Luis Felipe Rodríguez (MCTP Director) and Eli Santos Rodríguez (MCTP Deputy Director).

Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time during his visit to the state where he was born.
