In March, 2019, Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello travelled to East Lansing, Michigan, to attend the 10th International Conference on Evolutionary Multi-Criterion Optimization (EMO'2019).

Dr. Coello had a great time during this trip, in which he had the honor of being invited to a dinner at Prof. Kalyanmoy Deb's house. He also had the opportunity to talk with some good old friend and managed to get a historical photo in which he appears with very important EMO pioneers (Profs. Qingfu Zhang, Jeffrey Horn, Kalyanmoy Deb and Hisao Ishibuchi). He also had the opportunity to get a photo with Prof. Prabhat Hajela, who was a great source of inspiration for Dr. Coello when he was a graduate student in the mid-1990s.

Dr. Coello was also invited by Prof. Marouane Kessentini to give a talk at the University of Michigan at Deaborn. Below, you can see a photo of Dr. Coello with Prof. Kessentini.

Needless to say, Dr. Coello had a great time during this trip.
