PhD Defense of Nareli Cruz Cortés

On October 1st, 2004, Nareli Cruz Cortés defended her PhD thesis entitled "Artificial Immune System to Solve Optimization Problems".

The PhD jury consisted of: Dra. Katya Rodríguez Vázquez (from IIMAS-UNAM), Dr. Carlos Eduardo Mariano Romero (from IMTA), Dr. Arturo Díaz Pérez (from CINVESTAV-IPN), Dr. Oscar Olmedo (from CINVESTAV-IPN) and Dr. Carlos A. Coello Coello (Nareli's advisor).

After a successful defense, there was a toast with Champagne and plenty of pictures, some of which can be seen below. Nareli shared this valuable moment with her husband and her baby girl.
